Jacob’s Game Shelf

Are you or your loved ones bored at home? Why not escape with an easy to learn role-playing game or hosted game night!

My name is Jacob Nemec. I am an interactive game designer, storyteller, and game/dungeon master. I am currently running games over videochat and online gameboards, so all you need is an internet connection.

I specialize in keeping players engaged. Acting as an impartial host, my main focus is to keep the energy light and fun!

Role-Playing Games (or RPGs)

RPGs are played by 1-5 players and run by a game master. They are very easy for new players to learn and a great way to spend a few hours with friends. I currently offer custom campaigns for two types of RPGs. Click on an image below for details.

Game Night Hosting

Game Nights for up to 15 players are hosted and run for a flat rate. These include a variety of well known and custom games moderated by a host. We can discuss what sort of games would be appropriate for your group to customise your experience!

Reviews:

“My middle schooler was enthralled for the entire session and can't wait to join another adventure. GM Jacob was fantastic in his ability to bring the gaming world to life and to engage with each group member. Highly recommended!”

Ron, New York, NY

“We had Jacob host a DnD party for our 11 year old son this weekend. The other parents were texting me the whole time thanking me.”

Carol, New York

“Thanks for a fun evening. Our family needed an escape and you kept us all laughing.”

Debbie, Iowa

“Thank you so much for expertly and generously guiding the boys through the experience--the game is so creative and the kids were so thoroughly, immersively engaged. It brought me so much joy to see the boys collaborating and solving problems so creatively! The characters are fascinating to my son, he was absorbed by the fantasy for the rest of the afternoon, thinking of more ways to play the game.

Julian was totally excited with the story and would love to play again if there is a chance to organize something again and happy to cooperatively support a fee.”
