A small downloadable game created in an hour based on themes I observed in the play The Young King
The game is played by a family, each member picks a section of the board and a color. The players then make up their own small kingdoms and draw what the kingdoms look like. This is to mirror the various kingdoms the Young King visits on his travels. To play, everyone moves around the board and picks up cards. Each card has a question to ask another player. The questions elicit conversations between parents and children: when they feel in control and who they feel makes the rules in their respective lives. The goal of the game is to foster these discussions and make children start to think about the way rules and those who make them impact their everyday lives.
